Finally summer is here! Today it was a pure joy going to the small harbour nearby to take photos of my new scarf, the Salty Waves. I didn't even miss the sight of stormy waves rolling in from the ocean! From now I want shallow waters for months to go - maybe with an occasional sea-breeze to permit me to use my new scarf!

The garter stich scarf is as beautiful at the right side as at the "wrong" - cool enough for summerevenings and warm enough to protect my neck during winter!

Hello everyone! I'm Anne, a Norwegian "girl" by birth and heart, living in Sweden since ages ago. I'm a romantic and naive person that could easily live in a forest knitting all day from morning to evening. Life's got a hold on me though, I work part-time, live in a suburban area, and need to do lots of boring stuff apart from knitting. Life has changed a bit for me recently as I used to live in a beautiful, old house in the tiniest village in the countryside, and now find myself surrounded by lots of people everywhere I go. I miss my countryside-life; but there are advantages by living in a modern house - I do not have to spend much time on household or gardening - and that gives me the possibilities of knitting more - and even the time needed to write down my patterns. I have knitted since childhood, immensly inspired by my 2 grandmothers; one that stood for her fantastic skill in all handicrafts, the other stood for quality and taste. My mother was about the most creative person I have ever known - she worked in all fields of handicraft except for pottery. I love color, fashion, design, knitting.
